Below is my story on how I got started as a wedding coordinator here in Dayton.
Hi there! I'm Michelle, owner of Glamorous Weddings. I want to thank you for stopping by. Because I spend so much time with my clients, I like to get to know them better, individually and as a couple. Before we meet, I'd like to tell you a little bit about myself and my family.
In late December 2009, I started working for an online bridal shop selling wedding gowns, bridesmaids dresses, and accessories. The online side grew and quickly turned into a storefront and an online division. I was able to work hands-on with brides helping them feel beautiful and finding the perfect dress!
In 2010 one of my good friends got married at Polen Farm in Kettering. She was expecting family to come in with speakers for the reception but found out a couple of hours beforehand that they weren't coming. I was able to call a local rental company and get the speakers she needed within 15 minutes. In 2011, my husband Dillon and I got married at Shaker Run Golf Club in Lebanon, Ohio. In 2012 I decided it was time to open Glamorous Weddings. Since then, we've helped couples all over the Dayton area create unforgettable memories.
